Malissa and Christopher Tack live in a perfect miniature home in Snohomish, Washington, which they built themselves taking a little over seven months. The couple have named their cottage-on-wheels The Tiny Tack House, a 140 sq. ft. wooden structure which is complete with living room, kitchen, bathroom and a sleeping loft. They had very little knowledge of how to build a house when they took on the project in order to 'downsize' 'The work was done by Chris and myself. There was a few days where the parents flew in to help out with the roof", said Malissa. 'We had advice help with the electrical and plumbing from a certified person'. 'Just about everyone we know thought we were crazy, but now, everyone loves the idea of the house!' The house has four solar panels and is supplied by a 40 gallon fresh water tank, making it environmentally, as well as financially, friendly.
